I wish to offer my sincere apologies to all "Ruin/Rise" contestants for submitting a story that wasn't totally original and written specifically for this contest. I neglected to fully read the rules and resurrected a very old tale from years ago, gave it some extra polish and submitted it to the contest. I wasn't aware that I had broken any rules and again, appreciate once more the value of completely reading all protocols before jumping in with both feet. It was not my intention to submit something that was unacceptable and fully understand the requirement that my entry be locked and not in the running. I have removed the Participation Badge from my signature and deleted the 100 Hard Honor Points associated with the contest. I do hope this honest error doesn't bar me from participating in future contests....provided I go over the rules with a fine tooth comb. Again, I'm sorry if I wasted anyone's time and wish all contestants the very best of luck. These submissions are truly outstanding.
