Every Sunday a Prompt will be posted and you will have 1 Week to write 100 words inspired by the Prompt. Prompts can range from a few words to a picture image, and will unique each week. The challenge is to write 100 words every week and get 15 EASY points! At the end of each week, we will run a poll for all participating entries and the winner will get additional Points! Temporarily suspended due to low participation. For now, any submission to a Rolling Weekly prompt will net you 15 Easy Honor Points just for submitting! Weekly Challenge Rules: - No critiquing. Please refrain from giving feedback, as these challenges are to inspire creativity.
- Positive Enthusiasm is welcome! But save it for when Voting has started.
- CAN NOT vote for your own entry, and doing so will disqualify your submission.
- HAVE FUN!

Remind me, does the entry have to be fiction-like, or can it be an anecdote from personal experience, memoir-like? And does it have to be a complete "story" in that 100 words? I so cannot remember. Cuz I wanna try this, but I don't want to screw it up. And the words themselves have to be included, right?

I've also forgotten one of the rules. Does the story have to be 100 words exactly or can it be less? And if less, is there a minimum?
So delighted to see this challenge again. I always loved trying to come up with a complete tale within the word limit.

I think I know the answer to this but want to ask to be sure. Is this related to or completely separate from the 100 Themes Challenge you posted in another thread? Thank you They are two different challenges, though if you use something from the one, it could count as both. The 100 Themes has that option but a few limits. Be sure to read through! |

*sob again* I thought I had my entry, and then I didn't. Ugh. It's beautiful, all 200 words of it. LOL, I got this word count confused with the 200 Words word count, yep, I so did. So, it's back to the drawing board for me. At this point, don't count on me having one done in time. Maybe next time I'll have the proper word count in mind.  |
