Confession... I used to make up my own three words and do them at work (when I was retail) with this challenge to thank, weird and wonderful to have it back.

I really hope that participation picks up. I adore these Weekly Prompt Challenges, but it's not much fun when you're the only one who posts and end up getting honor points by default since nobody else bothered to compose anything.  On a related note, the new "All Hallow's Eve" Challenge....is that the recommended title or what has to be included in the text of the story....or both? Hoping to read some really scary offerings before the challenge closes.  |

Yes, I think this kind of thing will do better and better as membership increases. A larger pool of folks to pop in and participate, instead the same people feeling obligated to enter when the activity is competing with other stuff they have going on.  If activity wanes, skipping a month or so then doing it again might help. |

I think that's a great idea. People probably need to ease back into the challenges again. I'm sometimes a little to gung-ho when it comes to 100 Words Challenges....I just adore working on them so much.  (I probably didn't do that "quote" thing quite right, but I tried.....) |

That certainly sounds like a great plan. We may have more members by then who want to participate too.
However, since I rarely throw my hat in THAT ring, I'm never sure when NaNoWriMo happens...what month is that?
