I'm so tired of all the hyper-specific submission themes. Seriously? Isn't there ever just a generic call for horror without any caveats?

I'm so tired of all the hyper-specific submission themes. Seriously? Isn't there ever just a generic call for horror without any caveats? Right? I guess non-themed horror publications are the thing to search for there. I mean, the specificness of some of these surely means these zines receive relatively few submissions. I could totally be wrong, but it seems like we'd have to be really fast writers or have early-early knowledge of these themes to be able to get stories to them on time. Anyway...
