An Introduction

Hi everyone, 

Usually I write nothing but emails and the odd scientific report.  Very dry. 

I'm therefore equipped with no experience, little direction, but a strong desire to create something readable.  For someone might read something readable one day? 

Finding myself in wonder at the minds and capabilities of authors, the temptation to also have a go kept tugging.  So here I am.  Seeing if I can capture a part-per-million of similar simply by being bold enough to try?  

I'm not a poet.  And though I'd love to world-build, the details run amock in my head.  For now, I may just see if I can write anything coherent if that's ok?

With simple happiness such a forum exists,
