Your character is an adventurer needing to bed down for the night. How much will a clean bed and a bowl of stew cost for a night? What about a stable and feed for their horse?
On previous iterations of LF, I posted a link to a great article that goes into details about the price of money in medieval times. I am posting it again here because it is so useful establishing a baseline for how much your character might get paid, and what things will cost them from day-to-day.
