Found this link lurking in my bookmarks. Anyone who suffers the self-doubt and frustration and puzzle that comes with planning a novel might find some encouragement in these snapshots of notebook pages from people like JK Rowling. Isn't it comforting? I'm so glad these great books started out as disasters on paper instead of fully realized, beautiful, perfect works. Makes me love the process even more.

This is so cool, I like how you can sort of see how the personalities and styles of each writer shine through in these plans. The Bell Jar is one of my favourite novels, and Plath one of my favourite writers, so seeing her outline for the book was really interesting.
(I also love how Rowling had an entire column for "Ginny/Cho") xD
