Ideal for: fiction

Write a story based on the following prompt:

An imperial palace has been magically sealed in ice for centuries. A band of thieves accidentally melt the magical ice. Unfortunately for them, the sorcerer who sealed the old palace is still alive and now awake.

Post below: An excerpt (no more than 500 words) that best illustrates the prompt.

Reward: Earn a maximum of 10 Honor Points based on your excerpt's word count.

100 words or less = 10 Easy Points
101-300 words = 10 Medium Points
301-500 words = 10 Hard Points
