Aaaannnnd we are baaacckk!! Hahah, I can't believe this unforeseen twist of fate actually managed to happen... finding myself back in this cozy website forum and seeing old faces and usernames all over the place. I was absolutely shocked when I saw that post Raveneye made on the Discord server, telling us about the revival of Legendfire... a happy day for sure, among all these shitty weeks.
To anyone who might still remember me (and to the new ones who obviously have no idea who I am), I was Dreaming.Realist back on the old incarnation of the forum and was a semi-active member back then (I had barely graduated high school the year this place closed down). I posted a few personal poems and writing selections here and there, trying my best to learn the ways of writing, editing, and social cues among these amazing writers and moderators.
I can't way to encounter all you old and new people around here, and hopefully get started on writing brand new stories again! Thank you to you, Raveneye, for bringing back one of my safe havens and look forward to what happens next!

It's been roughly four years, I think and a lot has happened in my personal life, such as suffering and surviving through 4 years of college, snagging a Associates Degree and currently on the way to completing my Bachelor's English program right before I start up my dual degree program, studying Biology with a Zoology concentration and a minor in Computer Science! The decision to do that was made this year and I'm feeling all shades of nervousness and excitement buzzing in me. I will miss the English program and all the research, I'll admit, but hopefully I can one day return for my Masters. Outside of college, i started my first menial labor job a year and a half ago because I needed money, simple as that hah. Family issues have been abundant for a while, helping me have a realization last year that I had been suffering from depression and severe anxiety for a long time. I'd say this has been so profound, I make it a staple of my writings to include themes regarding mental health and other psychological topics. Another big change was accepting my sexuality and somewhat coming out this past year as bi asexual, but of course, there's still a bit of hesitation here and there, but it's a process like everything else. Lastly, I am the proud pet guardian of two cats (formerly three) for three years already!!
In spite of being in the English program, I have gotten way behind in actually reading any books i've had any personal interest in, and a bit ashamed to say my desire to read has decreased due to college stress and fatigue. I want to get back into the practice of reading books for my enjoyment only, as i've missed visiting these fantastical worlds! Also my writing has taken a hit and nothing has been produced besides the beginnings of a screenplay for a scriptwriting class I had over the Summer. My goal is to finish this screenplay first before moving on to other projects.
(Quick edit) Also should add some small tidbits on my hobbies and interests: I love movies, tv shows, and anime of all sorts (mainly horror, fantasy, or mysteries). Animal lover, foodie with a soft spot for Thai food and fried rice, amateur drawer and wanna learn how to do graffiti art, video gamer on PS4, Switch, and a PC one day, and also love working out at midnight. Also own a long-board which I've owned for a year but still haven't used more than twice.
