The object of this word game is to invent bizarre "definitions" for obscure words. Puzzle over the word and make a guess about it's meaning and post it, however bizarre. After you make your guess (or invent what you imagine the word ought to mean) look up the actual definition and supply it below your guess.
This is not meant to demonstrate one's ignorance, but your creativity and the oddity of the English language.
THEN provide the next word.
For example: I provide the word "strunt"
Then you post something like:
My definition: a verb that means "when a short person struts." Actual definition: 1) noun: the fleshy part or stump of a tail, especially of a horse's tail. 2) verb: to cut short, especially to dock (the tail of a horse or sheep). Next word: ...
Get creative and don't overthink it.
A couple of rules to keep it fun:
* The word you choose must be an actual word found in a dictionary, not a made-up one.
* No cheating. Looking up the actual definition before you guess a word's meaning spoils the game.
* If you know the definition of the next word in the queue, wait until someone provides a new word.
* Remember to post a new word for the next person.
Okay, here goes.YOUR WORD:
