What kind of game would it be?
For my Espionage Fantasy series Rogue Princess I'd like for it to turn into a open world RPG where choices matter. Like The Witcher games.

That's a fun thing to think about that I've never considered. My novel would have stealth and social gameplay. You'd have relationship meters with your coworkers that end up all plunging and not mattering at the end.

Hehe, fun.
My fantasy series would be a strategy war game. Way too much like Warcraft.
My bard novellas would be RPG with difficult choices, stealth and deception, theft for power plays, faction favor that determines late-game options, and magic of the non-fireball kind.

Oooooooo.
My science fiction novel I originally imagined as an FPS. Well, it can be designed for FPS with the third-person perspective as a toggle. Space opera pretty much. Its like if The Expanse and Marvel had a baby but in game form.

Depeding on the story, but the main focus would be a hack and slash brawler. Some social elements where characters could interact, but right now its street level fights, and bar brawls.
Maybe eventualy something where you are fighting alongside other soldiers, maybe even a Dynasty Warriors esk.
