Back Again... but It Feels Different This Time 'Round

Good morning/afternoon/night to you all! Once again I find myself revolving back to this hallowed ground of a writing forum... with the old, mixed with the new. I went by Realistic_Dreamer, now D.Dream-Seeker. I returned to the site back when I found out our great leader Raveneye resurrected it... then I dropped off AGAIN for, what, nearly 2 years? A lot of crap happened... but, that is not important to this post atm.

I'm back but not sure how active I will be... I have been through it, but I'm sure it's been like that for many of us here for the past 5 years or so. I'll say it now: I haven't written a single word for a couple years. Makes me feel many different ways when I admit it but it's true.

The year started off as a blank slate for myself, and I mean that in many different ways. Writing is one of those "blank slates" in which I need to return and start working on again. Hopefully, this forum can help inspire me when I am low on personal motivation or drive, since you lot have been the most colorful and exuberant bunch of people/writers I've met on the internet in all my years! There is a mountain of obstacles ahead of me, and I guess I came back to have a respite whenever I need to sit and reflect or think of where I want to take my writing journey next.

If anyone remembers me from the old site, hopefully we can say hi to each other! Anyone new, I also say hi to you as well. Here's to a New Year, even with the world ever spinning closer to an unpredictable conclusion.
