So I've worked up three entries for Pulp Literature's Bumblebee Flash Fiction contest, which opens on Jan. 1. I love the concept of a Bumblebee as a "prompt" or story style b/c some of us have been writing this sort of story for our 100 Word Weekly entries for a long time now. A warm and fuzzy story with a sting at the end. The link to the contest is right here: pulpliterature.com/contests/the-bumblebee-flash-fiction-contest/Earlybird entry fee is $15 per entry until Jan. 14. They're only allowing the first 300 entries. So ... I've taken some of my favorite 100 Word entries and expanded them into fuller stories. It's been really fun watching a bare-bones concept flesh out into a longer, deeper scenario where many of the blanks have been filled in and illustrated. I *think* that will get me around the requirement that the stories be unpublished, since, technically, most of the content is new, but I'll probably delete those entries from LF too, just to be more certain. Anyone else want to prepare stories and enter alongside me? Mazulla FoxxGlove pelwrath Caulder Melhaire ScintillaMyntan ... Who else has done the 100 Weekly lately...?

The big friendly bees that can keep stinging, but tend to be so chill you kinda deserve it if they do. Gotcha.
