Wow! Definitely did NOT expect to win with a story I panic-wrote in a day. Maybe I should panic-write more often. Thanks for everyone's comments! This was a fun contest!

ScintillaMyntan - I got my badge to work! Woot. I tried a couple of ways with the link above, but no luck. Finally had to open it up in GIMP, edited it down to the size of the others, removed the white background, and saved it as a diff file before re-uploading it to Imgbb, to get it to show. Totally bizarre. But! It's lovely, and I love it.

Finally had to open it up in GIMP, edited it down to the size of the others, removed the white background, and saved it as a diff file before re-uploading it to Imgbb, to get it to show. Totally bizarre. But! It's lovely, and I love it.  That's quite a process! Don't know if I understand it, though. So...... |

Honestly, usually, when I downsize anything I've made with a font on it, especially to that tiny size, the image is blurry, so I'm not sure why it worked this time. I just used the default png export settings. Terribly sorry the badges were a pain this time around. Cannot figure out why. |

Honestly, usually, when I downsize anything I've made with a font on it, especially to that tiny size, the image is blurry, so I'm not sure why it worked this time. I just used the default png export settings. Terribly sorry the badges were a pain this time around. Cannot figure out why. Actually, it occurred to me just now that I'm having the same issue with one of my book covers. Trying to get the HUGE full size image to show well as a thumbnail, and it's been a disaster. My name shows clear, but the book title is a blurred mess. CanNOT figure out why, and it's making me crazy. |
