Not going to lie, I'm struggling with inspiration so far. But, I have a 2 week staycation beginning Monday and my hope is that I'll be able to come up with an idea between now and then and knock something out by next week!

That's true... My entry definitely does not rhyme. Trying to rhyme is exhausting. I have a book that helps, but it's still a big no. That said, before any lines would flow, I had to spend about an hour reading poems by my favorite poets. They reminded me how to do it (not that it's stellar poetry, but whatever).

Unfortunately, I still haven't come up with any good ideas! I may have to withdraw for this competition unless I can come up with something in the next day or two at the latest. Honestly, that may be for the best - I may try to work on one of the other dozen or so unfinished projects I have instead, lol.
