Process Engineering
How does a so-called expert not know the difference between freeze dried and instant coffee? I’d paralyzed him so he could only watch. He was getting firsthand exposure to the instant coffee process first.
After cutting off his hands and feet, he saw the flesh and such stripped from the bones, can’t have those impurities in the mixture. He knew that batch would make twenty pounds of instant coffee.
When that was finished, I wheeled his body to the other line and did the same for a batch of freeze-dried coffee. That batch would definitely have a full body flavor.

EXCHANGING NICETIES
She invites me for morning coffee. A most surprising proposal since we are hardly good friends. Not really friends at all when you get right down to it. Certainly no love lost between us there. I won't bore you with the tiresome details. Still, the suggestion is an opportunistic one.
I make chocolate panettones to take with me to our little tête-à-tête. They are my specialty. An old family recipe.
"I do hope the espresso isn't too bitter," she says, filling my cup.
I take a sip and offer her a pastry.
"I do hope the croissant isn't too sweet."
