I love the animated style of these, Valhalla.
Holy moly. Did MJ put the ravens in the background or did you tell it to do that?

I love the animated style of these, Valhalla. Holy moly. Did MJ put the ravens in the background, or did you tell it to do that? That was all MidJourney. Sometimes some art requests don't go exactly as I'd expected but in this case it's a good thing. The Raven both represents her animal motif and her macabre nature with the fascination of death.

Holy moly again. Well, it guessed right on that one. Amazing.

I'm so sad! I used up all my subscribed minutes for the month! I was in the middle of trying out new prompt styles and so I have two grids of art waiting for me to develop further, when at last I have a new round of minutes to use. That's two whole weeks from now! I'm crying inside. Honestly, I didn't think I'd use up that many minutes. Basic sub comes with 200 minutes, after all. BUT! I did notice that several of my pieces were taking way longer than the estimated 1 min/image average. So I have to say: IT'S NOT MY FAULT! The AI was sabotaging me. That's what it was doing. I'm on to you, sneaky AI thingy.

A book cover concept for my dark fantasy novel, constructed with a combination of MidJourney and Photoshop.

The lighting and her eyes! Simply gorgeous. Counting the days until I create with MJ once again.

I'm so upset. A new month, a new round of MidJourney minutes to play with, and what happened in those 2 weeks that I had no minutes? MidJourney brought out their updated Version 5 that I was so excited to start playing with, but when I got to playing this afternoon, it's awful! The results are so hideous! I plugged in identical (IDENTICAL) prompts that I used with Version 4, expecting gorgeous results, and the AI gives me grossness. Soft, buttery textures and absolute weak sauce! What happened to the rich textured details that I didn't even have to ask for? Plus, I told the AI to paint a 35-yr-old male. Some maturity on those bones, you know? It gives me kids who look like they're maybe 16. Consistently! WTF??? So i decided to tell MJ to make pics using good ol' Version 4. The same weird grossness. Like, not much better than NightCafe produces, which is why I abandoned that site. What happened to MJ while I was gone??? *sobbing* Apparently, Version 5 is fantastic with photographic realism. But I am NOT happy with it anymore producing concept art for characters. Just awful. So I'm gonna waste this month's minutes learning ALL OVER AGAIN how to use this thing. I'm so pissed.

I once tried to have the AI to do a character for my Urban fantasy story. All I asked for was long straight black hair for a female POC MC of mine. All the AI was capable of doing was giving her a messed-up afro. I'm like WTF?! I even named the hairstyle. How hard is it to produce this for a female POC. There are a variety of hairstyles related to black women and if an afro is the only hairstyle the AI sees it that just provides a problematic issue when it comes to art relating to black characters. If the developers don't clean their act, I don't see MidJourney remaining relevant in the span of five years.
