Last summer, I wrote The Jonah Collector for a contest. The lyrical prose short story/poem did not place, so I would like to have it critiqued here, so I may self-publish it in Summer 2023.
But would the story be for the fiction or poetry sections?
It is 5000 words. It does rhyme.
Please let me know.
Thank you,
Dawn

Hmm, good question. How about this: if it has intentional line breaks stick it in poetry. If the lines wrap naturally, except at the end of paragraphs, stick it in fiction. Or maybe the distinction should be between stanzas versus paragraphs? Meh, whichever.
