Hi there!
I'm Mazulla. Though I don't think anyone will remember, I joined the original LegendFire website and posted just a couple of pieces (I mostly lurked). I think this was in the last 1-2 years of its life. While I wasn't the most active or social member, I did like the website and the community, and it left a lasting impression on me. I'm happy to see it up and running again.
I've been writing off and on since my early teens, but not very consistently after entering adulthood -- and sadly, I still don't. But I like to have an encouraging and inspiring community to come to when I'm in the writing mindset, as well as reading others' pieces.
As far as stories, my preference is for mild to strong elements of fantasy, supernatural, or sci-fi, and usually darker settings.
As far as myself, I'm Alaskan, and have an INTJ personality. I have two furry kids -- a 4-year-old and a 3-month-old German Shepherd. I play the piano, dabble in photography, and I'm a PS4 gamer. I have far too many house plants, I'm somehow acquiring more than I have places for, and I like gardening in the summer. I also recently picked up D&D with my husband and some friends and we're having a blast so far.
I hope to get into the swing of writing again soon, and look forward to reading others' writings and seeing you around the forum.

Like, it's pathetic how fast I can kill a houseplant. Instructions say water it, so I water it, then it dies. Instructions say "neglect" it, so I "neglect" it, and it dies. When people give me plants, the first thing I do is apologize to the plant. So I'm jealous of folks who can keep them alive. 
I FEEL like I don't have a green thumb this year! All my outdoor plants thrived for a little while, then got all sad and died except for a few planters, no matter how hard I tried to revive them. But, I feel like it has to do with the gnarly rain we got this year. Apparently it was the rainiest summer we've had in almost 60 years. (As if 2020 wasn't already bad enough!)
