yoooo nice to find somewhere so cosy and old fashioned, and active I write assholes and war and fantasy. I love mistreating my characters and talking about writing and sharing worldbuilding resources. V keen to get to know you guys here! I also do dark ages combat, fought in battles of up to 700 in Europe, and camped in the Arctic winter for a month without losing any limbs. I like to think I know what I'm writing about  |

Agreed. Love the artwork. The piece you're using for your avatar is stunning. Anyhooooo, sounds like you've got unique experience under your belt. Totally jealous of that dark ages combat training. Prolly woulda made my battle scenes stronger and more authentic. Oh well... Let's get to mistreating some more characters!  |

If you’re in a western country there’s prob a club nearby. Search up “jomsborg reenactment” (my club, it’s international) or if there’s none near you, try “dark ages / viking / medieval reenactment” or “HEMA” (historical european martial arts). Lots of fun yes indeed hahaha |
