I've created my first author's website. Nothing fancy but for me an achievement.

Next, a sequal isn't easy to write, yet I've done it none the less. On Friday Sundowners II Vampire Secrets will be available on Amazon, Smashwords, B&N, and several other places. I'd post a cover picture but this site and my computer skills don't mesh well. It's on the site for the curious.
The secrets that Agate knows keep surfacing; The unknown vampire organization that rescued her, Zephrin and Laurent’s relationship, and a cure that saved her life but has unintended consequences for humans and vampires. These are only a few of the flowers that have bloomed in Agate’s garden of secrets.
Unfortunately, secrets are a cancer that needs treatment. They are a terrible thing to keep. They are seeds of mistrust and confusion. The doubts about a person’s sincerity that spreads with time and revelation. Even Agate’s daughter is a victim of these ever-growing vines. When a representative of the Catholic Church shows up, looking for Agate under an alias she once used. It further complicates an already unpleasant situation.

This is a more personal post. Last year I was diagnosed with stage 1 class 2B prostate cancer. My consultation with the oncologist is this Thursday. As of today I don't have a date for my procedure. I'm feeling fine, and this level and type of cancer is fairly easy to treat. The procedure I'm having has a 95% success rate. When I have more infor I'll post it.
On anther note our 15 year old Pomeranian, Zero, passed away on Tuesday after 12 hours of tremors.

I'm feeling fine, and this level and type of cancer is fairly easy to treat. The procedure I'm having has a 95% success rate. When I have more infor I'll post it. Thanks Whale, daughter is taking Zero’s loss the hardest, then wife.
As for me, I’ll miss him. My cancer was caught early and it’s almost the easiest cancer to treat. Advice for guys is have your doctor do a PSA blood test on you.

An update. I’ll be getting what’s called a spacer injection of a jell. In February. This will protect a part of my body from the radiation treatment I’ll be getting, Monday through Friday about 30 minutes each day, for 28 days, then I’m finished.

An update. I’ll be getting what’s called a spacer injection of a jell. In February. This will protect a part of my body from the radiation treatment I’ll be getting, Monday through Friday about 30 minutes each day, for 28 days, then I’m finished. Ah, yes. My dad had radiation seeding done a couple years back for his. He just had to avoid children and pregnant women for a month or so, and felt more tired than usual, but otherwise, you'd never know. He was back to full speed in no time. I am sorry you're going through it, though. It must be scary, regardless. And I'm heartbroken about Zero. He was such an adorable little guy. And his picture was a comfort when I lost my silver tabby. So I'll return the kind gesture and have my kitten send you his condolences as a pick-you-up.  Inigo Montoya is showing off his cuteness by getting stuck in some cushions. He was so doubled up that his back feet were pinned over his head. I laughed myself silly. He hopes he makes you feel better. |

He’s so cute! I can’t get the seeds due to the size of my prostate, NOT the cancer area. This will be a focused higher intensity radiation beam. After 28 days the area should be gone. It’s just as safe and effective as the seeds.
