Congratulations. These were some good writing.
If anyone liked my fiction entry, go read Tales of Galicia by Andrzej Stasiuk. I was trying badly to emulate him. That book is amazingly written and very much in line with our prompt.

WOOHOO! Congrats to all our winners!
This was one of the highest scoring contests I think I've ever seen, and y'all deserved it. I'm happy to have ranked among all the awesomeness this year.

Ah man, I went to add this to my wish list and saw that it's out of print. I'll keep an eye open for it though. I don't know if it'll ever come back, really. A few years ago I bought the last reasonably-priced used copy on Amazon. I first read it as a student at the university library. I really hope you find a way to read it. It's so good and influenced my writing a lot.

I mean, I get limited space, etc. but with today's ability to Print On Demand, it would be nice if out of print books were moved to that option. I'm all for POD departments at big publishers. I'll even learn the programs to convert such books. Hire me, hire me!

Holy moly, the badges make my sig look ... gaudy. Like, yikes. Bahahaha! Gonna rock 'em for a while, then go back to the simplicity of the promotion badge. (Actually, I don't think I'll be able to stand it for very long.)

It's annoying this makes it hard for me to recommend people my favorite book.

Ooo, thanks for the link! Getting to read it as a pdf is way better than not getting to read it at all. I hadn't looked at it that way until now. I'm dying I'm laughing so hard!

It looks insulting. "MUNDANE RAVENEYE MUNDANE RAVENEYE MUNDANE RAVENEYE." I hadn't looked at it that way until now. I'm dying I'm laughing so hard! OMG, I can't unsee it now. LOL I looked at my own sig, and it reads: 'Dark Bird, Abandoned Bird, Mundane Bird'
