Can you even use winning one of those as a portfolio piece AND on a resume?

Can you even use winning one of those as a portfolio piece AND on a resume? Hmm, I have no idea. "An active member at LF Critique Community" is something I've used in cover letters, etc. but I hadn't decided whether our contests are legit enough to mention a win on a portfolio/resume. I'm guessing contests ought to be open to the public and officially recognized through some mysterious officious channels for them to be worth listing. But I could be wrong.
