First draft of novel = the former. Third draft of novel = the latter.

MMmm that second line. Precisely how my book is being written. Thanks to a terrible creative process that is getting rewritten after this draft is finished.

I've just completed Wuthering Heights, so I dug around the web for some Wuthering Heights memes:

I've just completed Wuthering Heights, so I dug around the web for some Wuthering Heights memes: OMG, I missed these. Hilarious! That first one ... yes, 100%. Kudos to you for finishing it. So was Heathcliff absolutely terrible all the way through? I mean, I know Cathy is despicable. Did you end up liking either of them?

Catherine (their daughter, not the original Cathy) goes through a redemption arc and the story ends with her and Hareton falling in love and marrying. Heathcliff was horrid up to the very end. He dies and is finally reunited with Cathy. Their ghosts roam the countryside and scare the locals. Not even death can put a stop to their awfulness The last line of the book is a whopper, though, so there’s that.
