Oh, Fridays. Why art thou so social?
I knew this would be a bad night for me, but jeez. I *think* I'll be available this Friday... Oh, hey! It's Friday the 13th! Hehe. Oh crap, that's the day after my birthday, so I might be having dinner with the hubby to celebrate. Or I might be hanging with the poetry talk gang.

I've been thinking that we can try voting on the times/dates of upcoming meet-ups instead of fixing it on Friday. This would allow more flexibility for everyone's schedules. I've floated this idea to Sundrinker on the Discord, and he seems down with it. I'm not sure how this would look like though. If we vote for next week's meet-up, then we might not have a tidy 7 poems. Do we vote for a meet-up 2 weeks ahead ...? What's everyone's thoughts on the idea?

You're so faithful. Seriously, if people aren't meeting to discuss the poems, you do NOT have to keep this up, Whale. At your discretion.

I read a few of these ones. The focus on Native American-themed works that's going on right now with Poetry.org has been really great to see.

I read a few of these ones. The focus on Native American-themed works that's going on right now with Poetry.org has been really great to see. It's something the site seems to take quite seriously. They do make an effort to consistently feature works by Native American poets. Definitely something that we should be seeing more of elsewhere.
