I'm not doing well,another Idea that sin't working out. A new story but I can't seem to fit two ideas now into the prompt. To me that's a rather restrictive prompt. To fit it I wirteabouta birtday or something, soborring. to add some exitement, I have to veer away from the prompt. I'll give it another thry but right now, not feeling anything.

I'm struggling with my original idea from a couple weeks ago. It's different from my "comfort zone," which is a good thing imo, but also... oof. So, in typical Mazulla fashion, I may try to rework something else (probably to my detriment) last minute this weekend, hah.  |

I'm kind of having the opposite problem. The story's so typical of me that it's actually sort of boring to write, almost formulaic. But it's the idea I had, and I'll try to make it good. I hope this wasn't too bad a prompt. You guys don't sound particularly inspired. |

I "finished" mine, but I always have the hubby proofread a story first to make sure it's not terrible and to make some last edits. The first half of the story is good and I'm proud of that portion, but he made some good points about how it ended. I felt it was lackluster myself and not quite what I hoped. So, now I'm stuck reworking it to hopefully lead up to a better end, but might not submit at all.

I— guess there are no entries for this one. I thought 'last day' would be easier than last year's 'dubious gift' prompt. I'll have to think about what exactly makes for a popular prompt.

Whoa... really? That's ... ugh. Saddening. So sorry about that, Scintilla. A lack of turn out is definitely not your fault. Not anyone's fault. Please don't take it personally. Sounds like a lot of folks really tried and tried again to get the words down. Kudos to all of you for giving it your best.
