I am obsessed with Pirates and their golden eras of sailing within their cultures around the world. Sailing is, I believe the essence of "Teamwork Makes The Dreamwork," believe it!

I am also obsessed with Shonen manga and anime. There is nothing like nerding out with your kids in their own nerdness. (We just finished all 500 episodes and 13? movies of Naruto)

I work in IT-- No I can't fix your laptop

My dream is to write a novel that is a mash up of Joyce, Melville, and space fantasy. However, everything I write turns more and more technical as I go. I really am looking forward to interacting with all of you!

Glad you found us again!

I love passing on my nerdiness to my 7 year old (my 2 year old is immune at the moment). We love Avatar the Last Airbender and Pokemon (yea we're basic) and Miyazaki films. I was her to see Sailor Moon because I know she'll be obsessed.

Can't wait to see some of your work. Gotta love some space opera and pirates! Do you have any space pirate stories??

Aw, man, IT have my sympathies. My poor husband is in IT, and the guy tries to go on vacation or take a day off, and somebody is like "Can you see what's going on with my laptop?" Yeah, ya'll need signs or t-shirts or something that announce "Call the Geek Squad." :busy:

And don't worry about technical. Write your story. If parts are too technical, an editor can help you sort it out.
