Former legal secretary in Louisiana and now residing in Oregon, but born in London and stubbornly remaining a British Citizen. Descended on my mother's side from the European Rom (from whom I inherited my wanderlust) I am officially known in that culture as a "Posh-Rat" (one-fourth Romani). Avid theatre-goer and must have seen “Les Miserables” at least a dozen times...everywhere from New York to London. Love to take walks with my little Cheagle (Beagle/Chihuahua Mix) named Sansa, which gives me the opportunity to clear the cobwebs and make room for the Creative Muse to take up residence.
Interested in creative writing (working on a fantasy trilogy that may or may not ever reach conclusion) and often dabble in what I call "Fractured Fairy Tales." Music preferences include just about anything with the exception of most rap and country...but true love lies with symphonic heavy metal by such bands as Nightwish, Epica and Tarot. I'll throw the Northern Kings in there too (although they do mostly covers) because I just adore Marco Hietala. Avid interest in anything mystical, magical and mythical and believe that when pets pass away, they wait for us to collect them at Rainbow Bridge...I also firmly believe in the existence of unicorns.
I will read most anything by Stephen King and Agatha Christie, but my tastes are by no means limited to those two authors. When it comes to television, I prefer True Crime and am addicted to the AHS franchise. My biggest disappointment in recent years was watching "Lost" from inception to conclusion and then realizing that I had now wasted several hours (not to mention years) of my life that I would never get back.
I am a child of Scorpio and refuse to accept the fact that Pluto, my ruling planet, has been so badly downgraded. It's a disgrace and no mistake!
